In September 2019, we released a stamp issue to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the arrival of one of the world’s most scientifically acclaimed meteorites: the Murchison meteorite, which fell to Earth on Sunday, 28 September 1969, creating a meteorite shower around the small town of Murchison, Victoria. Arriving just two months after the first Moon landing, the Murchison meteorite was declared “as exciting as moon dust!”

To keep up the excitement in the Collecting Community, we’re offering members the chance to pre-order and purchase an exclusive, limited-edition Murchison Meteorite stamp pack*. This very special product is only being offered for sale to the Collecting Community and has a RRP of $39.95.

The pack has been produced using an attractive, shiny metallic paper stock. It contains a perforated sheetlet of 10 $1 stamps from the Murchison Meteorite: 1969–2019 stamp issue and a gummed minisheet with a block of four stamps, both of which are exclusive to this product. The sheetlet of 10 includes a foiled silhouette of the Murchison Bridge on each stamp.

Collecting Community members will receive an invitation via email with a special pre-order link, to access this exclusive offer.
