Overview
The heart and the red rose have long been symbols of love and devotion. In the 13th century the French poem Roman de la Rose identified the rose with romantic passion and in 1794, Scotland’s bard, Robert Burns, famously compared his sweetheart to this exquisite bloom.
This stamp issue introduces two new designs for social mail users and event organisers.
