The Canberra Stamp Show 2018, staged by the Philatelic Society of Canberra, will run from Friday 16 March to Sunday 18 March 2018.

The main theme for the exhibition is a celebration of nursing in Australia, including the ground-breaking work by Lucy Osburn (1836–1891), the first nurse in Australia to be trained in Florence Nightingale techniques. Upon arriving in Sydney in 1868, Lucy Osburn set about reforming and modernising Australia’s nursing practice. Other show themes include the centenary of World War I.

Australia Post will attend the show, offering a range of philatelic products as well as special limited-edition show products and postmarks.
