February is the month for fabulous philatelic collectables

February sees the release of some exciting collectables for fans of all ages, whether fans of rock and roll or of classic children’s stories and animation.

AC/DC – three more PNCs are out now!

The celebration of Australian rock and roll icons AC/DC continues, with the release of three further postal numismatic covers (PNCs) featuring iconic AC/DC albums. This time, it’s Ballbreaker, Dirty Deeds and For Those About to Rock (We Salute You). Each PNC contains a coin from the Royal Australian Mint, designed in the style of a vinyl record and incorporating album cover artwork.

Alice in Wonderland

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, first published in 1865, is one of the great classics of children’s literature. It charts the escapades of a girl named Alice, who follows an anxious white rabbit down a burrow and finds herself in an upside-down world full of quirky characters. Disney’s first film adaptation was released in 1951. On 23 February 2021, we’ll release a charming licensed stamp pack, which contains 12 self-adhesive MyStamps, featuring Alice in Wonderland images in the designs.

Winnie the Pooh

Originating in stories written by A.A. Milne and illustrated by E.H. Shepard, Winnie-the-Pooh is an endearing and good-natured bear who is fond of his friends and honey! Disney has created numerous short and feature-length films featuring Winnie-the-Pooh and friends since 1966, which have been a hit with young viewers. On 23 February 2021, we’ll release a delightful licensed stamp pack, which contains 12 self-adhesive MyStamps that showcase Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore within the designs.

The AC/DC Ballbreaker, Dirty Deeds and For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) PNCs are available now, online, at participating Post Offices and via mail order on 1800 331 794, while stocks last.
