Australians are loving celebrating our country and its icons in the Great Aussie Coin Hunt. Visitors to participating Post Offices who make a purchase have been eagerly checking their change to see whether it includes one of 26 coin designs featuring much-loved Aussie icons beginning with each letter of the alphabet.
From 28 October 2019, the Great Aussie Coin Hunt moves into its next phase, which means there are lots of exciting collectables and gifts on offer.
More ways to complete your set
Collectors will be able to purchase single, individually packaged coins to complete their set, from 28 October 2019. Packaged tubes of uncirculated coins will also go on sale, together with a presentation folder. And for the serious coin collector, letter A “privy” coins (coins with a special mark) will be randomly mixed within a limited number of packaged tubes of coins.
Great Aussie Coin Hunt mint collector sets
Also available from the end of October are proof base metal and silver collector sets of mint A-Z coins. Silver coins are cast in 99.9% silver. These attractive sets are a quintessential souvenir of Aussie life, whether as a gift or to add to your own collection.

For the perfect keepsake or gift, customers can purchase individual coins to create personalised collectables. Use the coins to spell out names and words by purchasing a Great Aussie Coin Hunt customisable frame. Three sizes available, that can fit up to eight coins across and two rows high.
