Australia Post celebrated each Australian gold medal performance in Tokyo with the release of a gold medallist sheetlet and stamp, which are out now, while stocks last! See the full list, below.

Tokyo 2020 Gold Medallist Collection

The Tokyo 2020 Gold Medallist Collection, now available for pre-order, includes a full set of gold medallist sheetlets produced by Australia Post for the Tokyo 2020 Games, as well as a single Ticket to Tokyo stamp. What a great memento of the Games! Your collection will be mailed to you from the end of September 2021.

Postmarking

A special blank cover has been produced, for collector postmarking, with the following conditions:

  • The first day of issue is the date the stamp is available in the outlet.
  • Australia Post participating Post Offices and the Australian Philatelic Bureau will be permitted to apply FDI postmarks to gold medallist covers for a period of one month from the date that a gold medallist stamp was issued (available for sale from that location).

The Australia Post retail outlets listed below will have local FDI postmarks for the Australian gold medallist stamps. Each of these postmarks has its own location and postcode featured, as well as a movable date.
